Marianite Sister Genevieve Sensat (Sister Mary Alice) died March 18 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Nursing home in Opelousas. She was 80. Sister Genevieve was born in Lake Arthur, grew up in Iota and entered the Congregation of the Marianites of Holy Cross in 1952.
