Ascension of Our Lord Parish in LaPlace honors soccer kids, helps hurricane victims in Florida

Ascension of Our Lord, Knights of Columbus, Council 9623 recently traveled to Florida to help victims of  Hurricane Michael by cooking hot meals. They cooked and handed out hot meals along with 2 U Haul trucks of donated supplies to the needy families at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Panama City and St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church in Quincy. While in the affected areas of Florida, they witnessed the destruction and learned how blessed they were that the storm didn’t affect them.
