HOLY CROSS,priests, brothers, Marianite sisters and those they have served will mark 175 years of Holy Cross family ministry in Louisiana with an anniversary Mass April 28, 11 a.m., at St. Louis Cathedral, 615 Père Antoine Alley. Principal celebrant will be cathedral rector and archdiocesan vicar general Father Patrick Williams (Holy Cross ’80).

LOUIS IX ART SOCIETY presents “Verses at Nightfall,” an evening of poetry and conversation with “Joie de Vivre,” the society’s quarterly sacred art magazine for south Louisiana, April 30, 6:30-8 p.m., at Jesuit High School, 4133 Banks St., New Orleans.
