ST. BENILDE marks the feast day of its patron saint with “Feastival,” a parishwide celebration for all ages, Aug. 13 after 11 a.m. Mass in the parish pavilion, 1901 Division St., Metairie. Learn about parish ministries while enjoying complimentary refreshments, children’s activities, face painting, raffles, door prizes and the presentation of this year’s recipient of the St. Benilde Award. A first-class relic of St. Benilde will be available for veneration inside the church between the 9 and 11 a.m. Masses.
ST. ANGELA MERICI will host a Mission to the Holy Spirit, “Let the Peace of Christ Control Your Hearts,” Aug. 16-18. ANNULMENT WRITING WORKSHOP MINISTRY will host a seminar on annulments on Aug. 29, 7-8:30 p.m., at the St. Catherine of Siena Parish’s Melancon Center, 1643 Metairie Road. The free seminar, presented by Deacon Drea Capaci, offers an overview of the process of having previous Catholic marriages annulled. Members of the Annulment Writing Workshop Ministry of the archdiocesan Office of Marriage and Family Life will be available to answer personal case questions on a one-on-one basis at the session’s end.
