Funeral arrangements for Archbishop Philip M. Hannan

Monday, Oct. 3, 5 p.m.

Archbishop Hannan’s body will be received by Archbishop Gregory Aymond at the Notre Dame Seminary Chapel, 2901 S. Carrollton Ave., New Orleans.

A special Evening of Prayer will be celebrated by priests of the Archdiocese of New Orleans until 6:30 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 3, 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Wake service and public viewing at the Notre Dame Seminary Chapel.

Tuesday, Oct. 4, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Public viewing at Notre Dame Seminary Chapel.

Wednesday, Oct. 5, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Public viewing at Notre Dame Seminary Chapel.

Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2 p.m.

Horse-drawn procession with the body of Archbishop Hannan to St. Louis Cathedral. After Archbishop Hannan’s body arrives at the cathedral, public viewing will be held until 9 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 6, 2 p.m.

Funeral Mass for Archbishop Hannan will be celebrated by Archbishop Aymond at St. Louis Cathedral. Archbishop Hannan will be buried in a crypt beneath the sanctuary.
