The nonprofit National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced more than 3,000 winners of 2023 National Merit Scholarships financed by U.S. colleges and universities. Scholarships range from $500-$2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship.
An additional group of scholars, to be announced in July, will bring the total number of college-sponsored Merit Scholarship recipients to more than 3,800 in 2023.
