Jubilarians represent 2,065 years of service

Archbishop Gregory Aymond will celebrate the annual Mass of Thanksgiving for priests, deacons and religious of the Archdiocese New Orleans who are celebrating significant anniversaries of service May 14 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Rita Church, 2729 Lowerline St., in New Orleans.

As a group, the 42 jubilarians have served in religious ministry for 2,065 years.

A reception at St. Mary’s Dominican High School will follow the Mass.

This year’s jubilarians are:

75 years

Sister of the Holy Family Joan Marie Alexander, Sister of the Holy Family Mary Jacinta Blanchard, Sister of the Holy Family Marie Antoinette Sylvester and Mount Carmel Sister Francesca Truxillo.

70 years

Dominican Father Bertrand Ebben, Sister of the Holy Family Marian Perpetua LaCroix, Teresian Sister Angeles Sendin and School Sister of Notre Dame Dolores Marie Siebenmorgen.

65 years

Franciscan Brother Juniper Crouch and Father Denzil Perera.

60 years

Sister of the Living Word Jeanette Daniel, Sister of the Holy Family Maria Gonzales, Domus Dei Clerical Society of Apostolic Life Father Bernard Son Hong Pham, Mount Carmel Sister Catherine Riggs, Sister of the Living Word Marilita Roy and Marianite of Holy Cross Sister Pam Weathersby.

50 years
