A Novena for Life and Mercy is being held every Friday from Oct. 13-Dec. 8 in the Archdiocese of New Orleans to show Catholic support of human life from natural birth to natural death and to pray for peace and solace for victims’ family members, said Sue Weishar, Ph.D., Policy and Research Fellow with the Jesuit Social Research Institute (JSRI) at Loyola University New Orleans
Several churches have already committed to being host sites, but every church is encouraged to pray the novena. Introductory readings and prayers for every day of the novena can be found at: (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oTTedwLPXxAy2muPP5navCgTEpEuuvfI/edit?pli=1).
