Water experiments conducted by AOL students at Jean Lafitte Park

Academy of Our Lady environmental science students visited Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve to conduct lab testing on the swamp’s water quality. Students took their findings back to the classroom to complete activities tied to points of pollution in urban and suburban areas. They determined the local swamp water to be in good shape.
